Sustainable Development Goals

None of the SDGs directly address civic and political participation

Although none of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals directly address civic and political participation, every one of the goals is dependent on individuals or groups engaging with public and political issues: from voting, to organising rallies, to even volunteering to clean a local park. However, as shown throughout our research, the ability to participate fully in public life can be very challenging for lesbians, bi women and trans people.
